Soccer - Girls

The STARS Girls Soccer Program competes in the Tri-Metro Conference and will be in Section 3AA for the 2023 and 2024 school years.  

The team has advanced to the state tournament six consecutive seasons, winning the State Championship in 2022 and finishing runner-up in 2023. The STARS have also won four straight Tri-Metro Conference Championships. AHA had 7 players that earned All-Conference recognition in 2023. 

Three of our STARS have been recognized as Ms. Soccer Minnesota over the past five seasons - Mia Van der Heide (2020), Cat Duffy Shaw (2021), and Audrey Garton (2023). 

The team finished 19-2-1 with key victories over Cretin-Derham Hall, Totino-Grace, DeLaSalle, Visitation, Minneapolis Washburn, and Holy Family. 

AHA traditionally offers three levels of participation - Varsity, JV, and C-Squad. They usually practice after school in the StarDome or SW turfed fields.
